Our lab group uses a combination of quantitative and genetic methods to answer questions in ecology, evolution, and conservation of freshwater fishes.
We’re based in the Fish, Wildlife, & Conservation Ecology Department and USGS Cooperative Research Unit at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.

The Pregler Lab is open as of June 2023! Dr. Kasey Pregler joined the FWCE Department in mid-June 2023. Potential collaborations for research projects in New Mexico are underway, and opportunities to join the lab are coming soon.
